About
SMart Mesh is an experimental 802.11b/g mesh network in development at USTC WNG which provides broadband Internet access to users in Cambridge. It is now under producing, if your have some intersts in this project, pls mail: geajy at mail.ustc.edu.cn for discussion.
SMartMesh is part of our Research, which includes link quality measurements of 802.11, adaptive access to Internet, find high-throughput routes, handoff and mobility support, and developing new protocols which take advantage of radio's unique properties.
Hardware
The hardware we are going to use is NetGear WGT634U
Sofware
OpenWrt will be used to fresh the rom, as well as modified madwifi (which can support 802.11s)
